Zarnish Khan is a Pakistani television actress.Her charming looks and skills garnered attention from various production companies after which she landed her first role in serial ‘Muhabbat Ab Nahi Hugi’ in 2014. She gave her first award winning performance for her appearance in ‘Susral Mera’ as Alizeh. In the serial she worked with prominent names such as Imran Aslam, Ali Abbas, Behroze Sabzwari and more. Later, she played the role of Samra in ‘Aye Zindagi’ and Iqra in ‘Sehra Main Safar’ the former of which earned her nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Khan has also worked in telefilms such as ‘Ek Aur Ek Gyaraah’, ‘Janey Sey Pelay’, ‘Dil Mein Baji Ghanti’ and ‘Yeh Ishq Nahi Asaan.’ She further appeared in a leading role in serials like ‘Laaj’, ‘Sun Yaara’, ‘Man Chahi’, ‘De Ijazat’ , ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Ek Mohabbat Kaafi Hai.’ She has received immense appreciation for her hard work and a tremendous fan following. Do you prefer acting or producing?

I like acting and enjoy it but producing will be my next step. I think I’d love to try this genre.

Did you always want to pursue acting as a career?

No, acting was more of a destiny than choice. But I am more than happy that I am doing this and it has now become one of my biggest passion.

What do you like most about your job?

The fact that I have the leverage of coming to my work as per my convenience, getting dolled up the whole day and travelling.

A project that you hold really close to your heart:

‘Ishq Zeh Naseeb’

Do you have a hidden talent?

I can dance really well.

What do you enjoy the most?

I love painting but I don’t find enough time do so. I wish I could go somewhere like Maldives and just paint for 6 months straight.

What advice do you have for young artists coming into the field?

Have faith in God, work hard, be patient & humble.

What’s next on your bucket list?

Kids.

Rock, pop and folk.

My parents and my husband.

That I’m not married when I’m happily married.

Who’s your bestie in the industry?

I don’t make besties in the industry. No one is your friend here, the sooner you learn, the better.

Always high on life. People say I’m life of the party.

That I’m extremely family-oriented.

That I am honest, I’m very hardworking and the fact that I try and stay very humble.

I think my husband. But I’m not a possessive wife. (haha)

Being down to earth, accepting life the way it is and the act of letting go.

People who don’t to how to dance and have no sense of humour.

What’s your daily outfit like?

First ironed thing I find in my closet.

Your favourite designers:

I am not really that shallow. Whatever looks good on me works, even if it’s not branded.

If you were stranded on an island, what are two things you’d want with you?

Not having a phone with me wouldn’t be a problem, I’d love to be isolated for a little while. The things I would need; lots of sunblock, moisturisers as my skin is very dry and a camera for sure.

A style icon that you wish you could bring back from the dead?

Michael Jackson.

One food that you can eat forever?

Daal Chawal.

How do you spend your Sundays?

Going to the beach, a game night with the family and if there’s nothing to do then Netflix.

Favourite hangout?

It could be anywhere depending on my mood. Even a drive would do it for me; with my husband or sometimes even alone.

What is your message to the youth?

Be comfortable in your skin and stay humble.
