All you seafood lovers out there, don’t you just love the smokey flavour of fish melting in your mouth? Well, you are in luck as this week You! has collaborated with Mr. Tanveer, Chef de cuisine at La Mamma Restaurant, Movenpick Hotel, Karachi, who shares his special recipe of ‘Salmone Affumicato’. Try out this authentic Italian dish, as it is so simple and requires just a few ingredients. Happy Cooking!

I N G R E D I E N T SSalmone Affumicato

Smoked salmon         100 gms

Capers 10 gms

Sun dried tomatoes   10 gms

Melon  50 gms

Olive oil         10 ml

Lemon juice    10 ml

Black pepper  2gms

Dill      1gm

Salt    to taste

M E T H O D

  • Arrange the smoked salmon in the plate. Marinate the rocket leaves with salt, black pepper powder with olive oil and lemon dressing.
  • Arrange the salad in the centre of the plate and drizzle with lemon olive dressing.
  • Garnish with caper, sundried tomatoes and melon. Your dish is ready. Enjoy!
