There’s certainly no lack of influential female artists in popular culture. Which is why it continues to baffle when, in this day and age, music festivals and concerts repetitively reveal overwhelmingly male-dominated line ups. It is important to create an environment where everybody gets to be seen and heard and valued, and come as you are.

In this regard, the newly launched production house and event management company made waves by organising an all-female concert featuring some of the most talented female artists in the country. Fashion and entertainment collided in a powerful way at the recent She Rockx concert organised by Creative Headquarters.

The concert was held at District 19 and saw performances by popular female singers Natasha Baig, Shae Gill, and Maria Unera. The all-female line up was a refreshing change. It was a celebration of women’s voices and talent and provided a platform for female artists to showcase their skills.

Vinessa Phoebe, Director of CHQ said, “The objective of the company is to organise events that create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space for women. The concert exemplified this vision by providing an environment free from judgment where attendees could fully enjoy the performances of talented female artists.”

The concert was not just a musical event; it was a statement. It was a celebration of women’s voices and a call to action for gender equality. It showed that women have the talent, the skills, and the power to make a difference in the world, and they deserve to be given equal opportunities to do so.

But the event wasn’t just about entertainment. It was also about empowering women in rural Sindh. The money earned from ticket sales was donated to a women empowerment campaign in the area. The funds were used to buy sewing machines and distribute them among women to make them financially independent. This is a significant step towards empowering women and giving them the tools they need to support themselves and their families.

In conclusion, the concert was a much needed step, both in terms of entertainment and its message of female empowerment. The event was well organised, and the female artists put on a fantastic show. The money raised for women’s empowerment in rural Sindh is a step towards creating a more equal society, and it is heartening to see the entertainment industry taking an active role in promoting gender equality. The concert was a huge success, and both the artists and the audience felt super comfortable throughout the event. CHQ is radically trying to expand creative possibilities for women musicians, who can take the stage to triumph, to experiment, even to fail and to try again.

The women put on a spectacular show, and the audience was thoroughly entertained. The event was a testament to the power of women in the entertainment industry. It upended longstanding presumptions that audiences wouldn’t connect with the femininity and eclecticism of an all-female music line up. It also served as a reminder that they deserve to be given equal opportunities to showcase their talents. It is glimpsing a possible future in which women are rightfully placed at music’s centre and not its margins.
