Singer, songwriter and actor, Asim Azhar collaborated with Momina Mustehsan for the popular song ‘Tera Woh Pyar’ in Coke Studio Season 9 that gained more than 137 million views on YouTube. Now the singer has collaborated with American electronic dance music (EDM) duo, Krewella for one of their songs, called ‘Paradise’ from the band’s new album zer0.
The EDM duo, Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine, who visited Pakistan in 2017 and made their Coke Studio debut in season 11, recently shared the news about their second album on social media. They revealed the album will feature 11 songs with Asim Azhar coming in on the fifth track.
“Feels unreal to announce this officially but our sophomore album zer0 is coming out on January 31,” the duo noted in a post on Instagram. “We tapped into some deeper emotional & cultural layers creating this body of work, both of us grew closer in the process, & we’re so excited to share the journey with our amazing krew. Thank you so much for encouraging & supporting us to keep it up guys, it’s been a helluva ride.”
Asim Azhar was quick to respond and said, “Honoured to be a part of this. Can’t wait for the world to hear this work of art!”
