Zara Noor Abbas is all gearing up to make her big screen debut with Asim Raza’s upcoming film, Paray Hut Love. She shot to fame with her first TV play, Khamoshi and won many hearts via her character Arsala and the play remained on top in the ratings chart. Though her present play, Lamhe, is a mixed bag, her next serial does look promising.

Titled Qaid, it features Zara in a unique avatar, something she is very excited about. “This play is very close to my heart; I have worked really hard for it,” Zara tells Instep in an exclusive conversation. “It is about juvenile obsession and nothing of this sort has ever been presented on Pakistani television. It is an obsession that leads to so much negativity in one’s life; it happens when one doesn’t get what they desire and are unable to get over it.”

Zara also claims that Qaid is a must-watch. The subject is alarming for families, particularly for parents who have kids in their teen years. “I am really looking forward to this one,” she adds.

The first teaser of Qaid has released and it looks intriguing. Zara’s character is arrested right when her wedding ceremony is going on and she leaves with the police in a bridal dress. What brings her to this situation - we will have to see once the play goes on air on Geo TV.
