The film’s first teaser is out and we have no clue what’s going on in the film. It doesn’t establish any conflict and just plays on the theme of love with some action and drama thrown in for good measure.

Featuring love birds, played by Taimoor and Javed, Mehrunisa V Lub U looks like a Shah Rukh Khan film from the ’90s with the two roaming around in the grass, on the mountains and similar locations. However, the storyline is unclear and the teaser leaves one clueless. Taimoor lands in some trouble and reaches out to his father, played by Javed Sheikh, for help after which things seem to resolve.
As claimed by the director as well as the lead pair in an earlier interview with Instep, the film has a serious message attached to it. However the teaser doesn’t hint at anything more than a clichéd tale of frivolity and insipid love. We hope the film’s trailer will offer more substance.
