Julianna Margulies’s Alicia Florrick is finally off-air with what was one of the most underwhelming TV finales, ever. The 50-year-old actress however is not looking back.

In what is being described her first post-Good Wife role, the actress has nabbed a role in the upcoming film, Three Christs, in which she will star alongside Richard Gere.

According to EW, the film, set in the fifties and based on a true story, takes place in a Michigan mental hospital “where psychiatrist Milton Rokeach (Gere) performs a controversial experiment on three paranoid schizophrenic patients — portrayed by Peter Dinklage, Bradley Whitford, and Walton Goggins — each of whom believes he is Jesus Christ. Margulies plays Rokeach’s wife, who is also his former research assistant and secretary.”

Whether it’s an inspiration of the infamous Stanford Experiment or something more, it will be interesting to see this film given the supreme cast.

Meanwhile rumours of The Good Wife spin-off are accurate since Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo will reprise their roles of Diane Lockhart and Luca Quinn respectively in the new show.
