KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has revised its timings for the trading session, a statement said on Friday.
The new timings will come into effect from October 25 (Monday).
According to a notice sent to all market participants, key changes to the Designated Time Schedule (DTS) are: extension of 30 minutes for continuous trading session; reduction of post-close session to 10 minutes and reduction of the break period to 1 minute.
The new trading session timings would be from 9:30am to 4pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the market will operate in two sessions, where the first session will be from 9:15am to 12pm and the second session from 2:30pm to 5pm.
The office timings of PSX would be from 9am to 5:15 pm from Monday to Friday.
