Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that it was a moment of great pride for him when Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated the Thar Coal project today.
CM Sindh took to Twitter after Bilawal on Wednesday inaugurated the first coal based power project in Tharparkar.
Murad says, “Thar coal project, a dream of my leader Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and a task my father the then CM Sindh, late Syed Abdullah Shah, had started working on.”
It may be noted here that Thar Coal Power Project foundation stone was laid by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the then CM Sindh Syed Abdullah Shah in 1994. Now this project has been inaugurated by their sons Bilawal Bhutto and Syed Murad Ali Shah.
