Bilawal inaugurates 660MW Thar coal power project
Thar coal based power project was completed under CPEC flagship public private partnership of government of Sindh in ten years.

KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday inaugurated the first coal based power project in Tharparkar.
The power plant has a capacity to generate 660 Megawatts and consists of two power generation units of 330 Megawatts each.
This project was completed under CPEC flagship public private partnership of Government of Sindh in ten years’ time.
Sindh government has given the sovereign guarantee of seven hundred million dollars.
