‘Razak Dawood not an elected member’: Vawda’s comments shock host Hamid Mir
Faisal Vawda, who is known for making controversial statements, also made tall claims of massive number of job creation in the next few weeks contradicting his senior cabinet colleagues Asad Umar and Razak Dawood who keep on warning of Pakistan’s economy going through difficult period.
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources stunned Capital Talk host Hamid Mir with his comments that Razak Dawood is an unelected member when confronted that he the PM’s Advisor had earlier stated that Pakistan is a bankrupt country.
During discussion on current state of economy, Mir quoted Prime Minister's Advisor on Commerce, Textile and Industries and Production and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood, where he had painted a bleak picture of the national economy.
"Pakistan is a bankrupt country and does not have $ 800 million required to revive the Mills and expand it to 3.5 million tons," Dawood had said.
To this, Vawda stunned everyone with his sweeping statement that Razak Dawood is an unelected member.

On Vawda’s shocking remarks, Mir said I am taking my question back and added that you have just ruined Dawood’s reputation.
