Zardari, Faryal Talpur granted interim bail till April 10 in fake accounts case
Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur had sought pre-arrest bail until completion of trial.
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Thursday granted bail to Asif Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur till April 10 in fake accounts case.
The PPP leaders had filed bail petitions in the high court on Wednesday.
Zardari had stated that he has until now received three summons and was not aware of the number of inquiries being carried out against him.

He said the National Accountability Bureau might arrest him in connection with one of the inquiries.
The court on Thursday approved Asif Zardari's bail against surety bonds of Rs4 million and Faryal Talpur's against Rs1 million.
Their lawyer Farooq Naik requested the court to allow his clients to submit saving certificates or cash as surety bonds since they were residents of Karachi.
The court granted the request and ordered the suspects to submit their surety bonds in the form of cash.
The applicants had sought pre-arrest bail until the trial is complete .
