Amidst the growing strains between borders, Pakistani veteran actor Nadia Jamil is trying to bring about positivity in the hearts of people residing on either sides of the border to bring India and Pakistan together in the face of hostility.
The Balu Mahi actor turned to Twitter addressing social media users from India and Pakistan both, asking them to share something they like about the other to defeat hatred and hostility in times when tensions between the two countries are rife.
“Today I request all my Indian friends & family to share what they like & appreciate about Pakistan,Pakistanis. And all my Pakistani friends & family to share what they enjoy about India & their Indian friends. Positivity competition on ho jaaaaai! #AppreciateTheGood,” read her tweet.
Soon after, Nadia received an overwhelming amount of responses from both ends with social media users in Pakistan sharing their favorite things about India and Indians pointing out the positive in their perception about Pakistan.
