ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday paid tribute to the generosity of the people of Pakistan for their response to his appeal for raising funds for construction of dams in the country.

The prime minister used his Twitter account to share the latest figures which showed over 10 billion have been deposited to the Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund.
" I would like to pay tribute to the generosity of the people of Pakistan for raising Rs 10 billion for the Dams' Fund," he wrote.
The fund was set up days after Imran Khan took oath as the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan.
