KARACHI: Speaking on Pakistan-India tensions, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has said that there is nothing more ignorant than cheering for war.

Commenting on Fatima Bhutto’s tweet, Mahira Khan said “Nothing uglier. Nothing more ignorant than cheering for war. May sense prevail.. Pakistan zindabad.”

Fatima Bhutto had said in her Tweet that “There is nothing uglier than people cheering for war.”

Fatima also prayed for peace for India and Pakistan.

The Pakistan Air Force thwarted an early morning incursion into its airspace Tuesday by Indian fighter aircraft, forcing them to flee.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed elements of national power including the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan to remain prepared for all eventualities, hours after Indian warplanes violated Pakistan's airspace on Tuesday.

"India has committed uncalled for aggression to which Pakistan shall respond at the time and place of its choosing" observed a special meeting of the National Security Committee chaired by the Prime Minister at his office.
