Hollywood’s acclaimed actor Gwyneth Paltrow has stepped forward shedding light on her work experiences with the industry’s infamous director Harvey Weinstein.
The 46-year-old Iron Man in conversation with Variety, revealed that while her films Emma and Shakespeare in Love, produced by Weinstein have brought her massive praises from all around, what went down behind the cameras was extremely tough for her.
“He was a very difficult boss,” she stated, continuing: “It was a fraught relationship. We would get in knock-down, drag-out fights. I remember once, my mother [Blythe Danner] walked in the room and I was yelling at him about something. She was like, ‘Who was that on the phone?’” The actor went on to recall that when she told her it was Weinstein she replied: “‘Oh, my goodness, good for you. Stand up for yourself."
The Hollywood mogul was accused of sexual assault by the actor in October of 2017 when she recounted her experience The New York Times.
