Priyanka Chopra’s TV show ‘Quantico’ gets cancelled, won’t return for the fourth season
LOS ANGELES: TV channel ABC has cancelled Priyanka Chopra’s serial ‘Quantico’ and the drama whose third season is currently on-air will not be returning for its fourth season, reported American magazine Entertainment Weekly.
The move came in lieu of TV networks bidding adieu to many TV shows.
According to the magazine, Priyanka’s show has been averaging 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic.
The show was cancelled to make space for new programmes in the upcoming fall season.
After the heart-breaking news surfaced, actor Kal Penn tweeted to Priyanka:
“Hey @priyankachopra let’s do a movie.”
To this, Priyanka replied:
The 35-year-old actor plays Alex Parish who initially was an FBI trainee suspected of being a terrorist.
The famed show starred ake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington and various others.
Priyanka will be returning to Hindi cinema after a hiatus of three years. She will play the female protagonist in Salman Khan-starrer ‘Bharat’.
