LAHORE: Pakistani actress, model and philanthropist Irtiza Rubab, widely known by her stage name Meera, revealed on Thursday that she has decided to leave the country forever, shifting to the United States.
Without sharing reason, Meera, who claims to have Green Card, surprisingly told media that she will permanently settle in US, when she was asked that what made her to take such decision, the actor said; “I will share the reason for leaving Pakistan with my fans soon.”
Controversies often surround Meera, who always yearned to be the centre of attention but rose to fame quite rapidly, for both the right and wrong reasons. She was more scandalised than any other celebrity in Pakistan during her showbiz career.
Meera, who wanted to be a doctor, kicked off her film career with Kanta in 1995 and from thereon, made a place for herself not only in Lollywood but shined in Bollywood also as she starred in Mahesh Bhatt’s Nazar, and than played another bold character in Bollywood 's romantic thriller Kasak.
