Actor Savitri's biopic 'Mahanati' releases new teaser

The life of South Indian actor Savitri will now appear in the form of a film titled ‘Mahanati’ which has just unveiled its first teaser trailer.

The multilingual biopic of the Indian film actor, playback singer, dancer, director and producer, has earned the interest of film enthusiasts with its retro look and the promises made by the makers of the film, calling it ‘the greatest story ever told about the greatest actor that ever lived.’

The Nag Ashwin directorial is featuring a dignified cluster of stars with actor Keerthy Suresh stepping into the role of the legendary actor Savitri, along with Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan and Shalini Pandey.

The film is said to be released in the Indian languages of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and will be ready for public viewing on May 9.
