No time for social media: Kangana Ranaut believes it is time-consuming
MUMBAI: Ace Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut thinks social media requires a lot of time.
The national award-winning actress, when inquired about the reason behind her absence on social media, stated that she finds it time-consuming.
“I am not on social media for many reasons and one of them is that I feel it’s so consuming. People tell me open an account because there can be brand queries and they want you on social media. It’s mandatory," said Kangana during an interview with an Indian daily.
She further added, “Sometimes your agents tell you just open an account and don't post, or let us post. That's not okay with me, because I have not done anything in my life where I am not involved. I can't imagine the fact that I am being dishonest on some level that someone else is pretending to be me. I am faking that with millions of people and it's sort of having a fake relationship,” she said while maintaining that she isn’t comfortable with others posting stuff for her either.
Kangana Ranaut has carved her niche in the Indian film industry after starring in many blockbuster movies like 'Queen' and 'Tanu weds Manu'.
She will be seen next in Rani Laxmibai-biopic ‘Manikarnika’ and Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Mental Kya Hai’ opposite Rajkummar Rao.
