‘Baaghi 2’ reaps 45.50 crore at box office in first two days
Bollywood’s action thriller ‘Baaghi 2’, starring Tiger Shroff alongside real life girlfriend Disha Patani, climbs to a 45.50 crore on its second day after a smashing 25.10 crore opening at the box office on Saturday.
‘Baaghi 2’ has so far managed to take down earlier records among young stars, previously settled by Ranbir Kapoor’s starrer “Besharam” with a 19.87 crore, the cloak now lands on Shroff’s shoulders for his fine exceed with 25.10 crore profit on the very first day.
‘Baaghi 2’ has already exceeded Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ which had scored a 19 crore business on the first day putting behind a critics’ war.
Without any native holiday around, the action romance film has also appeared 14th among the 15 highest opening days of all time, the Indian media reported.
Citing the whopping success on the beginning of a three day weekend, the business count is expected to reach a hundred crore success within the next three to four days, having no other major releases on the verge, according to the sources.
The new muscle man has received praises from action icons Akshay Kumar, Hritikh Roshan, as well as Anil Kapoor, Suneil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Arjun Kapoor and ‘Heropanti’ co-star Kriti Sanon among many who took to twitter to applaud the in Bollywood.
The story plot is sketched out from the lovers’ paradise where fighter Shroff tightens fist against mafia to rescue his ex-lover’s kid, and the movie comes paired with a musical appearance from Jacqueline Fernandez.
