PSL 3, Match 27: Zalmi set 182 runs target for Karachi Kings in must-win game
SHARJAH: Defending champions Peshawar Zalmi scored 181 for six against Karachi Kings in their must-win game to keep alive in Pakistan Super League at Sharjah Cricket Stadium here on Thursday.
Kamran Akmal smashed 75 runs off 51 balls and helped the team to reach 181.
Earlier, Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first.
Kings are gunning for a top two spot and their effort was given a slight boost by Lahore Qalandars who brushed aside Quetta Gladiators.
Two wins from two games will assure them a spot in the top two. In that sense, this is a must-win.
But for their opponents, Peshawar Zalmi aA loss today will end their push for a top-four spot. A win keeps them alive.
