Aamir Khan’s Instagram account scores 269k followers on his birthday

Just a day prior to his 53rd birthday, Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan made his debut on Instagram. However, what he did know was that as soon as he would join the social media community he will be followed by a whopping number of 269k followers!

Today, as he is celebrating his birthday, the 3 idiots-star delighted his fans by uploading the first photo which is  a grid made up of nine pictures of the person who means the most to him, he said.

Sharing the picture, Aamir wrote, “The person because of whom I am who I am...”

As soon as Aamir joined Instagram, he garnered some 221k followers immediately, even before he had posted anything on his account. Following his debut, #AamirKhan and #OnInstagram started trending on Twitter.

The megastar currently has 23 million and 15 million followers on Twitter and Facebook respectively.
