Tom Cruise opens up about rare Princess Diana memory

Tom Cruise got candid about the beloved Princess Diana.

On a recent episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, when the Hollywood superstar was questioned about the late Princess Diana's visit along with young Prince William to his film sets.

“Yes … I guess he spoke of it so it’s fine, I’m always very private about people … it was beautiful … it was Mission Impossible, the first Mission Impossible,” the Oscar nominated actor recalled.

He went on to say, “Man, was she lovely, and he was just absolutely lovely. Very kind to everyone, and just a kid. Mannerly and fun … Fun, same person, same guy,”

It is worth noting here that the A-list actor recently crossed paths with Prince William and his wife, Princess Kate on his latest movie Digger’s premiere on September 22.

Tom praised the royal couple, saying, “They were laughing … very gracious, loved the film, it was beautiful for them to be there, they’re such an elegant, charismatic couple.”

Further speaking of Prince of Wales the blockbuster star added, “As I said, William chose well, she’s beautiful, beautiful, beautiful."

“What they do for their country and the world is … lovely,” insisting they’re “so down to earth,” Tom acknowledgedly said.

It is pertinent to mention here that Princess Diana died in a car accident on 31 August 1997.
