Palace 'undermining' Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's return?

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been warned that palace was 'undermining' their return to Britain, a royal expert has claimed.

Speaking to the Fox News Digital, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner has claimed this two months after Meghan and Harry’s move to Britain, and King Charles letter to clarify their status.

He said, "Harry and Meghan simply want to be left in peace, allowing themselves privacy to protect their children and to cover some charity activities. The palace, I feel, are being driven by officials and maybe William to constantly undermine this return.”

The royal expert went on saying, “Officially, they are making sure Harry and Meghan are not seen to be creating royal-style events.”

Turner also talked about King Charles letter and said it was unnecessary.

The royal expert explained, "In my mind, the act of clarification was not necessary, creating humiliation for the couple and a cowardly act by those behind the letter.”

"William may see the return as a distraction from his popularity and, as it seems already, Harry has received some favorable accolades from people he is meeting at events -- this could be an annoyance to William’s ego,” he said.

Earlier this month, King Charles authorised a letter to senior British officials confirming that his youngest son Harry and Meghan remain non-working royals following their return to the UK.

There are also claims William was ‘very instrumental in getting that letter out’.

“William is not going to stop pushing until the King agrees to take away their titles.”
