Royal family opens digital condolence book for the late princess
Princess Astrid of Norway died on September 11, two days after her buried the late King Harold was laid to rest
Norway's royal family has invited people to pay their last respects to Princess Astrid via the digital condolence book at the Royal Palace.
The invitation came as the royal family shared pictures of dignitaries signing the condolence protocol at the palace following Princess Astrid's passing.
A social media statement said, “The President of the Parliament, the Prime Minister and the Supreme Court Justice have signed the condolence protocol at the Palace in connection with the passing of Princess Astrid.”
Princess Astrid, an older sister of the late King Harald, died on September 11 at the age of 94.
Astrid's brother Harald died last month, aged 89, after more than 35 years on the throne, and the princess made her last public appearance at his funeral on September 9.
Her funeral will take place on September 23.
