‘Difficult to swallow’: Prince Harry dissected after major ‘irony’ gets unearthed

Despite owning a house in one of the most coveted places in California, rubbing shoulders with elites, and even buying a summer home in Portugal Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to return to England for “an extended period of time” without offering any further information.

Its been so silent on the Sussex side of things that royal fashion and lifestyle reporter Alicia Liberty turned to Express.co.uk and penned a piece to highlight the shock factor of this return.

What’s also pertinent to mention is that the move was so secretive that even RAVEC was told with barely two weeks’ notice, out of fear that things would leak.

With all this in the rear view she explained her own surprise over the whole thing in the following words.

“That is what makes Harry’s return so difficult to swallow,” she explained. “He has previously claimed his father and brother were ‘trapped’ within the system, suggesting they did not have the same freedom he had found by leaving. Yet publicly criticising them also backed them into an impossible corner.”

Moreover, being a blue blood since birth, and growing up in the instiatuion, she feels there were a number of habits and limitations that the Duke “should have been aware of. Namely the ‘never complain, never explain’ motto famously connected to the late Queen Elizabeth.

In the writers’ view, “Prince Harry also knew that his relatives were hardly going to sit opposite him on American television and trade allegations point for point.”

She didn’t end there either. Instead she doubled down and said, “every family argues. Relationships break down, hurtful things are said and sometimes people stop speaking altogether. But most people do not package those grievances for a worldwide audience.”

Her concluding remarks though were what exposed one ‘irony’ that the Duke likely learned later in life, which is that “there is such a thing as a private life - and ironically, the Palace walls Harry appeared so desperate to escape offered far more privacy than the years of public accusations which followed.”
