Zendaya's makes rare social media return with unseen childhood throwback

Zendaya has stepped into a new chapter of her life as she rings in her 30th with a sweet throwback snap.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day star took to her official Instagram account on Wednesday and penned down a gushing note to mark her birthday milestone.

She expressed her gratitude to her fans for all the love and well wishes she received during her twenties.

Zendaya penned, “I can’t thank ya’ll enough for making the last year of my twenties so beautiful."

She continued, I have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to, with love as always…."

"Here’s to 30!!!!!” The Odyssey star added.

Along with the sweet caption, Zendaya also shared an unseen throwback snap seemingly from her tween days.

In the picture, she can be seen beaming as she poses, seated on the floor with one knee raised and the other leg tucked against the floor.

She donned a light pink tank top, purple plaid pants and blue sneakers while her curly locks were tied in two ponytails.

The post also marked Zendaya's rare return to social media as her mother, Claire Stoermer, revealed in her own birthday tribute that Zendaya has otherwise stepped back from being active on socials.
