Stanley Tucci delights in Welsh cake treat as new 'Tucci on Great Britain’ is in works
Stanley Tucci tours Great Britain for second season of his food-and-travel series
After exploring different parts of Italy in search of rich cuisines, Stanley Tucci now turns his attention to Great Britain.
In a follow-up National Geographic series, the actor traveled to Wales to sample local foods.
And he made a stopover at a bakery in Cardiff, Wales, while shooting the food-and-travel series.
It was Cardiff Bakestones, a popular stall in the city known for making mouth-watering Welsh cakes.
With the stall regularly seeing long queues, it makes nearly 1,200 per day and around 1,500 on St David’s Day.
Adam El Tagoury, the stall's owner, also snapped a photo with Tucci, who was there to try his cake.
And tried he did. Several varieties of Welsh cakes were presented to him, and The Terminal star appeared to like each one of them.
However, for full insight, fans have to wait for Tucci on Great Britain to complete filming, set to air on Disney+.
