The biggest regret of Vincent Pastore’s life has come to light just days after his death.
For those unaware, the American actor passed away at the age of 80 on August 1, 2026. He died of natural causes in his sleep at his home on City Island.
An insider close to the late actor told Radar Online that he never wanted to experience a humiliating run-in with the law, as he tried to assault his girlfriend, Lisa Regina, on the streets of New York’s Little Italy.
He hit Regina in the back of the head, forced her head down on a car's gear shift, and grabbed her hair. When he appeared in court before Judge Ellen Coin in Manhattan Criminal Court, he accepted his crime, saying, "Yes, I did," he replied.
An insider revealed, "Vincent was deeply in love with her and reacted poorly when he realized she could be moving on from him with another man.”
"He regretted it and had to pay a deep price for a terrible moment of anger and despair. It haunted him to his final days,” the source stated.
It is pertinent to mention that Vincent Pastore had a succesful career in the entertainment world, as he worked in shows like The Sopranos, Godfellas, This Thing of Ours, Return to Sleepaway Camp, Shark Tale, and many others.
