Portland: Pygmy goats hop aboard city bus during morning rush

Portland commuters received an unusual surprise when two loose pygmy goats got astride a bus during the morning commute. The goats confused the passengers before being guided back outside the bus. 

According to security footage released from Southeast 162nd Avenue and Division Street, the goats stepped onto the FX2 line bus where a passenger chased away, and the driver reopened the doors. 

The clip shared on social media quickly gained traction with laughs from viewers, noting the goats seemed more polite than some human riders. The unexpected event has become wholesome and a shining moment for Portland’s commute stories.

On social platform X, internet users have been sharing compelling comments with one user writing, “These two just pulled the ultimate Portland move Skipped the walk, hopped the bus, and still somehow look more put-together than half the morning commute.”

The second remarked, “Those goats behave more normal than most Nigerians.”

A third user added, “These goats said they are not walking today but they are taking public transport.”
