Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s camp comes forward about King Charles’ efforts with Archie, Lilibet

After years of emotional and physical separation from the Firm, that the Sussexes themselves initiated back in 2019 with Megxit, it appears to have come full circle and they’ve made their first ever family focused trip to see the King since the children were infants.

A source close to the Sussex camp has even revealed what the family thinks of the efforts King Charles is making despite rumored backlash from Prince William and the rest of the Firm.

A source explained it all to Closer Magazine. In their admission they were quoted saying, “the fact that Charles is working so hard to put this rift in the past and lay the groundwork for the future, not just for Harry and Meghan but for their children and future generations, is hugely satisfying.”

Moreover, the source also said, “it's becoming increasingly clear that they don't need William and Kate's approval, which has really boosted Meghan’s confidence. She and Harry believe that William, and presumably Kate, went out of their way to make life as difficult as possible for them and tried to block them at every turn. Ultimately, they failed, so of course Meghan and Harry both feel vindicated.”

“That being said, they would still very much like to have a better relationship with William and Kate, and they do intend to work towards that,” the Sussex source added near the end.

However, what they did make clear is that, “if that never happens, they believe they and their children will always have a place within the family” regardless.
