Sophie Turner reveals what America had that she can't find back home in UK

Sophie Turner loves being back in her home country, the UK but she misses one thing about America- the sun.

The Game of Thrones actress returned to London from America in 2023 after her split from ex husband Joe Jonas, along with their daughters Willa and Delphine.

Sophie confessed that she is happier in her home country but misses the exposure to more sun in the US than the UK.

The mom of two said in a recent chat with The Sunday Morning Herald, “No, I don’t miss living in America.”

“I do miss the sun, but that’s it.”

She, in fact, was happy to be back near her favorite spots like “sarcasm, baked beans on toast, Jaffa Cakes and British chocolate.”

Sophie explained, “The thing that I missed the most was pub culture especially in spring, when the pubs are rammed and people are spilling out onto the streets and it is all so joyful. I love that gathering of people.”

She added, “New York has it, of course but when I lived in L.A., you’d have to drive everywhere. I missed just wandering down the street and seeing a bunch of people chatting at the pub. To me, that’s England.”

It is pertinent to mention that Joe and Sophie, who tied the knot in 2019, ended their four-year marriage in 2023. They also share joint custody of their daughters.
