Ariana Grande prepares one last gift for fans before stepping away

Ariana Grande is planning one more project for her fans before she takes a break from public life.

Last week, the 33-year-old singer announced she'll be stepping back from public work once her Eternal Sunshine Tour ends. She said this decision comes after facing ongoing public attention and criticism. Because of this break, she also won't be performing in the theater show "Sunday in the Park with George" alongside Jonathan Bailey, and her role will be given to someone else.

Before her break begins, Grande will perform 10 shows at London's O2 Arena between August 15 and September 1.

A new report states that Grande plans to film these London shows for a special release later on, as a final gift to her fans. 

One source said the singer has truly enjoyed touring again and wants to preserve the experience through video, especially since she doesn't plan to tour again anytime soon.

"Despite all the noise around her, she has fully enjoyed returning to the stage as a pop star. She didn’t think she would ever tour again and certainly won’t for a long, long time, so she wants Eternal Sunshine immortalised," the source told The Sun.

"It’s also the perfect present to her fans while she takes time away from the spotlight."

Earlier this week, Grande finished the North American part of her tour. She shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, thanking her fans for the memorable and meaningful months on tour.

After first announcing her break, Grande spoke to fans at a concert to explain her decision. She said the choice wasn't made suddenly or emotionally, but was something she had planned carefully a while ago. 

She also clarified that her decision wasn't caused by negativity or criticism, and wanted her fans to know that wasn't the reason behind her break.
