Prince William meets wall of ice with Charles: 'Gets only indifference or downright anger'
Prince William’s father seems to have taken up a passive aggressive approach
Prince William and King Charles seem to have come at an impasse. So much so that a source has had to come forward and explain how bad things are, given the British penchant for the stiff upper lip.
The entire thing has been explained by a source that is very well versed with royal dynamics.
According to them, there is nothing but a wall of ice because “any advice that he gives his father is met with indifference or even outright anger.”
But that isn’t where its ended, instead Prince William has decided “the best thing he can do is stop trying to help and let [King Charles] do whatever he pleases, since that's the end result anyway.”
“What's really hurtful in all this is that it seemed like they were busy preparing him to take over. Everyone was talking about a potential abdication and now, he's suddenly been pushed to the side while Charles rolls out the red carpet for Harry any chance he gets.”
But that’s not even the worst part. According to the insider, the part that’s truly “bewildering” and “enraging” all at the same time, is that William feels ‘done’ when trying to understand it.
“He’s still hoping somebody else can talk sense into his father, but he's not counting on it and he's through wasting his breath,” they also said near the end to the National Enquirer.
In their eyes, “if Charles wants to have this relationship with Harry so badly, then he should have at it and let William get on with the business of ruling. Because clearly, Charles is at a point in his life where he's more focused on sentimental matters than practicalities."
