Prince Harry lands between a rock and a hard place planning Christmas 2026
Royal takes up arms for King Charles’ sake: ‘Spoiled brat’ Harry needs something bigger to crack this
Meghan Markle isn’t the only one apprehensive to even plan a trip back to the UK, especially for an event like Christmas. Instead, reports warn another member of the British Royal Family is still up in arms about the past and has no intention of allowing this to happen, without fuss.
Reports about it come straight form well placed sources who are aware of the sentiments within the Palace.
These anonymous sources name Queen Camilla has the biggest hurdle, that’s yet to be overcome.
According to Closer, Harry is now up against his step-mother, a woman who has kept her head down for decades, avoiding the media backlash, and now as Queen Consort, has the power to decide the fate of the Duke’s Christmas invitation, because “none of it is going anywhere unless Camilla signs off on it first.”
Throughout this time sources say, Harry is “doing everything he can to keep the dialogue going through aides” and “quietly pushing for a Christmas invitation”.
In terms of prospects the fact remains that Camilla and Harry “have never gotten along,” according to the source. They also say, “it’s no secret she thinks he’s been a spoiled brat who’s made a whole lot of mistakes,” but that is not to say she’s completely above giving him a shot because “she does believe there’s still some good in him” and that, “deep down, he can be steered in the right direction.”
As for the extent of her power in all royal matters the insider explained it in a few choice words, and they are “she is a non-negotiable part of Charles’ life. There is no reconciliation with him without her.”
