Prince Harry appears to have had a better time in the UK than his wife, who rumors say still feels ‘destabilized’ by the role she had to play in keeping Prince Harry stable during the back and forth with the Palace.

The update comes via a well placed source that says, “it would be a different story if she’d come home feeling like some of the old wrongs were righted but that simply isn’t what happened at all. The trip left her completely drained.”

They have even gone as far as to call everything a ‘nightmare’, for both of them because “she was the one that had to steady him through it all; she can’t go through that every couple of months.”

But she’s also caught between a rock and a hard place because Meghan “certainly doesn’t want the children going without her,” the same source admitted, “not at this stage” at least.

Moreover, there is also chatter and calls for them to make the trip out to their neck of the woods too but “it’s very hard for Harry to imagine a scenario where Charles comes to America instead, he just can’t see it happening,” the insider clarified. “Which means, in the end, it all comes down to whether he can persuade Meghan to get back on a plane, and right now even Christmas is looking like a long and difficult conversation.”

Another thing worth pointing out, which the source made sure to mention regarding the trip is, “there wasn’t a moment where she ever relaxed on this trip, she was in full fight or flight the entire time,” so “the prospect of enduring that again anytime soon is daunting, to say the least.”

The same was true for Harry because they also explained to Closer, “he had to fight tooth and nail until the last moment to figure out a way to bring the children, and even then, they only got one visit with the King so it’s very hard to imagine how the next visit is going to be any less stressful.”

All in all, for royal fans hoping for a smooth return, the fact of the matter is that it might not happen, especially since Meghan’s already asking Harry that she ‘needs time’ to ‘fortify herself’ for the next trip”.

While Harry understands, the source said before signing off, “his dad is fighting cancer and he's in his late 70's, so naturally Harry feels a huge sense of urgency to at least get something on the books. This is not a conversation he's just going to drop.”
