Since clinching the victory for Spain in FIFA World Cup, Lamine Yamal is in constant limelight due to his contribution in beating Argentina. Soon, this spotlight shifted to his personal life.

The 21-year-old social media influencer earlier debunked these claims, stating, “I wasn’t going to say anything or give this topic any attention at all.”

Despite her rebuttal and no credible source of confirming her past alleged relationship, the viral claims regarding her past relationship continued to speculate on social media platforms. Netizens conjured up various reasons for breaking up ex-boyfriend.

Some users accused Garcia of only wanting to be with a star or “being a chameleon for her actions.” Some advised Yamal to surround himself with the right people. Another wrote, “What she was with someone else before Yamal. She could be a gold digger. He needs to be careful about her.”

In response to these hurtful and defamatory allegations, Garcia finally broke the silence on this matter.

Taking to X, she posted, “I never thought that sharing something so simple would turn into this.”

“I've spent hours reading the comments and, although I'm trying to tough it out, I'm a person too. Behind this account is someone who feels, who cries, who makes mistakes, and who doesn't stop being human just because she's in a relationship.”

The 21-year-old continued, “I understand that not everyone has to like everyone else. I understand criticism when it's respectful. But there's a huge difference between having an opinion and taking the time to humiliate, insult, or wish the worst on someone you don't even know.”

In the post, she also urged for the empathy from users as the other person “also has family, friends, insecurities, and feelings. You don't know how your words can affect them.”

Refusing to give further explanation, she added, “I don't intend to convince anyone to like me. I just ask for a little empathy. A little humanity. Because no one deserves to receive hundreds or thousands of hate messages.”

Yamal and his girlfriend’ relationship came to the spotlight during FIFA as Prior to Spain's victory over Argentina, García expressed strong confidence in the team, stating, "We’re going to win the World Cup, he’s the best."
