Tom Holland is on cloud nine as his new film, The Odyssey, is set to hit theaters on Friday, July 17.
Speaking to E! News at the premiere of The Odyssey in New York City, the 30-year-old actor shared his working experience with great actors like Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, and Matt Damon, as well as the movie's director, Christopher Nolan.
“For a young actor to get the opportunity to be a part of something like this is so surreal," Tom told the outlet.
The Marvel actor added that he was excited to rewatch the epic.
“I cannot wait to see it. I'm honestly—I'm on cloud nine right now," he said.
He then praised the film's director, Christopher.
“What Chris does is he paints an amazing picture,” Tom raved. “He builds these wonderful worlds and you really just have to dive in. There's no time for nerves.”
“He shoots at a pace that is unmatched and to be a part of his company is just a pleasure,” he added. “You have to drink in every single moment and I loved every second of it.”
For those unversed, Tom plays the role of Telemachus - the son of Damon’s Odysseus - in the film.
