King Charles warned about Prince Harry: 'Poison for the monarchy'
"Harry genuinely believed the children would change everything"
A royal expert has warned King Charles about Prince Harry following the Duke’s meeting with monarch, saying he is a "poison for the monarchy."
Speaking to the Daily Express UK, royal expert Tom Bower has claimed that Prince Harry’s visit to UK with his family Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet could only harm the institution.
Prince Harry returned to Britain last Monday and later he was joined by Meghan, Archie and Lilibet.
They also met King Charles during their first trip to UK in four years since 2022.
Reacting to Harry’s trip to UK, Tom Bower commented: "The man is poison for the monarchy, and I think all the damage he and Meghan have done over the last 5 years, yes, there was again more damage, and the monarchy's popularity has fallen."
"It needs to rebuild its popularity and rebuild its respect for people. And Harry's presence in Britain just undermines that effort.”
Meanwhile, another royal expert Rob Shuter has claimed that the Duke believed he had one final card to play in his battle over security in Britain: his children Archie and Lilibet.
The insiders have told the expert, “Harry genuinely believed the children would change everything.”
Prince Harry thought no one in government would risk the headlines if Archie and Lilibet were left without the level of security he was requesting, the source said and added, “He was convinced it would force RAVEC’s hand.”
