King Charles, Meghan Markle 'emotional' reunion will change the dynamic
King Charles will want to see Meghan Markle and they have “a lot of respect” for each other
A former royal aide and expert has claimed that King Charles and Meghan Markle’s reunion will be 'emotional' and it will change the dynamic.
The Daily Express quoted Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles from 2004 until 2011, when he was the Prince of Wales, as saying that the monarch and Meghan once had a very strong bond.
He further said the King will want to see his daughter-in-law and they have “a lot of respect” for each other.
“While we know the King and Harry have met since the infamous fallout, the introduction of Meghan will change the dynamic,” the expert said.
“Charles and Meghan were extremely close, and I like to think they may have kept in communication during the years they’ve been apart,” he said and added, “If it happens, I think it will be a very special and emotional reunion.”
Harrold further said King Charles and the Duchess have a lot in ‘common and a lot of respect for each other, so I imagine they will both want to reconnect.”
The royal expert’s remarks came days after it has been confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will visit UK with their children Archie and Lilibet next month for an Invictus Games event.
It will be Meghan, Archie and Lilibet’s first family trip back to the country since 2022.
