Meghan Markle’s hopes for the future come crashing down at 44: ‘This was not the vision’

Meghan Markle’s world view and life has taken a massive U-turn since she and Prince Harry left the UK, in favor of financial independence.

It is in light of this shift that a source has come forward to Heat, to address all that is happening with the Sussexes finances, and the realities they have to face in pursuit of a US lifestyle.

The source started by admitting that where Meghan’s concerned, “it’s totally not how she envisioned living at this stage in her life.” After all in her mind she “married a prince, money worries should not factor in.”

“But this is not a fairytale,” they admitted when attempting to peel back the layers and added, “they unfortunately have put themselves in a precarious spot financially that they need to dig out of. It’s tough but Meghan’s insisting they can do it.”

What’s made the process of building a brand, and cutting down on their staff difficult, is that Meghan is said to have “genuinely believed” Harry was worth ‘hundreds of millions’ back when their Sandringham Summit left them with US as a potential option.

They also said, “when she discovered the actual numbers, it was a huge shock. Yes, Harry is wealthy, but not ‘private jets forever without worrying’ wealthy.”

However that is not to say the couple has relied solely on money from Netflix and their other projects, as short-lived as they may be.

From the Royal Family’s side Prince Harry came to the multiple inheritances, both from Princess Diana’s Spencer estate assets and the Queen Mother. Still, the fact of the matter is that its already been used and absorbed into their California lifestyle.
