Prince William marks major 10-year milestone with powerful message

Prince William, the Prince of Wales has shared a fresh message about wildlife protection.

On Monday, the future King of Britain appeared alongside Hollywood stars Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch at major event in London.

Later, the official Instagram handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales posted photos from the event.

Highlighting the latest United for Wildlife Business Forum, held in London Climate Action Week, the post reflected on the organization's decade long fight against illegal wildlife trade.

The caption of the post read, "Ten years ago, United for Wildlife’s Buckingham Palace Declaration united the global transport industry to shut down trafficking routes for the illegal wildlife trade. Today at London Climate Action Week, @unitedforwildlife are setting the course for the years ahead."

"Meeting global business and technology leaders committed to protecting vulnerable species and disrupting environmental crime," it added. "Encouraging bold action, innovation and collaboration to make wildlife conservation everyone’s responsibility."

One of the photos from the post showed Prince William seated alongside Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch during a discussion panel.

During the discussion the Prince of Wales also talked about the significance of his Earthshot Prize on his life.

He said that his Earthshot Prize helps “keep my environmental anxiety at bay” and “helps me sleep at night” because it leaves him feeling that “we can do this” and reverse the horrors of climate change.
