Prince William travels from South East to South West after joint appearance with Kate Middleton

Prince William on Thursday visited a pioneering carbon-negative farm in Devon, displaying  his commitment to sustainable agriculture and environmental transformation.

The Apricot Centre grows biodynamic food which nurtures local people and communities. It says they offer regenerative farming support, consultancy for land-based businesses and nature-based wellbeing therapies.

The future king visited the farm in South West England a day after appearing at Royal Ascot in South East  England  with his wife Princess Kate on the second day of the horse racing event.

The Prince of Wales visit to the Apricot Centre comes as he pursues ambitious climate goals for the Duchy of Cornwall, which he has tasked with achieving net zero emissions by the close of 2032.

The heir to the throne has maintained a keen focus on how organisations can successfully transition away from carbon-intensive practices.

During his time at the 120-acre site, the prince explored how regenerative farming techniques can deliver both ecological and commercial success.
