Hulk chases Spider-Man in the new 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' trailer

In a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Tom Holland is facing more than just mutation.

There is emotional turmoil as MJ, who appears to have a new love interest, and his friend Ned no longer recognize Peter Parker as they did before.

Then, there is Hulk, portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, and the gunslinger, the Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal.

The latest trailer comes after the first one broke several records.

It became the first film trailer to reach 1 billion views, doing so in just four days.

Blown away by this, Sony chairman Tom Rothman recently raved about Holland.

“It’s as big as anything we’ve ever made, and yet it feels like nothing we’ve ever made,” he said earlier at CinemaCon.

“And it has Tom Holland — and I can say this because I’ve seen the movie — in his finest performance.”

The logline of Spider-Man: Brand New Day read, "Following 2021’s 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', the latest entry into the Spider-Man universe (directed by Destin Daniel Cretton) picks up four years after the previous film’s end."

"Having erased himself from the lives and memories of those around him, Peter is living alone and “crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name."

“He’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced," the synopsis read.
