"It's a memorandum of understanding. And if I don't like it, we'll go back to shooting at them, dropping bombs on their head. If I don't like it, if they don't behave, we'll go right ‌back to dropping bombs right smack in the middle of their head, OK?" said Trump, at the G7 summit in France.

As reported by Reuters, Trump said the Iran MOU did not include immediate sanctions relief for Iran, while adding he would talk about this matter later.

On the country Iran has accused Israel of violating the truce in Lebanon 84 times since it reached the agreement with the US and warns of a “harsh response” if attacks continue.

The US will not invest in Iran and has not asked Gulf countries to do so, but “it’s fine” if Gulf countries decide to do so at some point.

He will speak more about the situation with Iran at a news conference later today.

The US president has reiterated his view that the US-Iran framework deal is “very strong”.

The president was speaking alongside the Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi at the G7 conference in Évian-les-Bains, France.“Nobody knows what it is, but it’s very strong,” he said.

“Who’s really happy is the markets,” he said, adding that the Strait of Hormuz would be fully open in the next “day or two”.

He made the remarks as he and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi addressed reporters at the G7 summit in France with comments focusing on the US-Iran negotiations.

“What is really happy is the [stock] market that has gone wild. It’s gone through the roof. And oil has tumbled down,” the US president said. “That speaks louder than words.”

Trump says there’s nearly no chance Iran will ever have a nuclear weapon.

He says "there’s a 99.99 percent chance that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon."

Additionally, Trump clarified that the current MoU does not include immediate sanctions relief.

He said any economic benefitsin, cluding the reported $300 billion development plan are strictly contingent on Iran meeting specific benchmarks during the negotiation period leading to a final agreement.

Notably, the proposed agreement is set to be signed in Geneva this week.
