Where can you watch the Met Gala 2026?
The Met Gala 2026 is set to take place on May 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
The 2026 Met Gala will take place on Monday, May 4, with red carpet arrivals beginning in the evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Guests are expected to arrive from 5:30pm ET, while official red carpet coverage will begin at 6pm ET.
Where to watch in U.S., UK and Canada:
The livestream will be available through Vogue’s official digital platforms for all coutries including the U.S, UK and Canada, including YouTube, offering viewers access to celebrity arrivals ahead of the private fundraising event.
The gala itself is not broadcast, as attendees are required to follow a strict no-phone policy once inside.
However, multiple media organisations, including AP, Reuters and TODAY, are also expected to provide live coverage of the red carpet.
Vogue’s livestream will be hosted by Ashley Graham, La La Anthony and Cara Delevingne, with Emma Chamberlain returning as red carpet correspondent.
Television coverage will also be available through E!, which will broadcast live from the event and stream via Peacock.
NewsFlip, a growing social media platform, will also provide live coverage and analysis of the event.
The 2026 Met Gala will be co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
The Met Gala theme is always inspired by the Costume Institute's upcoming exhibition and this year, the Costume Institute's spring exhibition is, "Costume Art."
In conjunction with the upcoming exhibition, this year's Met Gala dress code is "Fashion Is Art."
Guests are invited “to express their own relationship to fashion as an embodied art form and celebrate the countless depictions of the dressed body throughout art history,” according to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
