Charlize Theron reveals why daughters won't get luxury cars at 16

Charlize Theron does not want to raise spoiled kids, as she revealed her strict parenting approach for her teenage daughters.

During a recent chat on the Therapuss podcast, the Apex star, who is mom to two daughters, Jackson, 14, and August, 11, shared that her girls are hoping to get a real life job as soon as they are old enough to get one.

​She also revealed that they are not going to keep getting a car as a present on their 16th birthday and they will learn the value of earning their own money.

​The dotting began, "First of all, your first car is going to be a Datsun, because you're going to crash it."

​She continued to tell host Jake Shane about her approach, "You're going to f*** it up somehow. You're a new driver. So, we're not getting, like, the nice car up front... we need a little bit of experience, and we're going to earn it."

​It is pertinent to mention that Theron adopted August in 2015 and Jackson in 2012.

​The Oscar winner further shared that she has started to push her daughter to take service roles.

​"Every time we go to Starbucks, I'm like, 'Look at this ... Do you see how friendly? You have to be that friendly every morning at 6 am. Start getting ready for it'," Theron quipped.

​On why she has a strict approach for her daughters, Theron explained she just wants her daughter to be capable enough of taking care of their own expenses if they had to.

​"It's too soon to kind of say where they're going to end up," Theron noted, adding, "They just need to get a job that pays them, because I don't want to support them for the rest of life."
