Police dog suspects WHCD gunman just before shooting, chilling video shows

An abortive attempt by the suspect, Cole Tomas Allen, at the White House Dinners Correspondents has been widely covered.

But an aspect that was not highlighted before came to light recently.

It was when a K9 zeroed in on the alleged gunman shown in the CCTV footage moments before he was set to make a run for the ballroom, passing several police and secret agents.

The officer, who was handling the police dog, was seen to harden the K9 leash after the animal turned agitated when it saw the gunman.

However, after exchanging a few words at the stairwell, the handler pushed the dog back, at least twice, to walk away, implying the K9, not the officer at the scene, was the first to suspect Allen as questionable.

And nearly a second later, Allen, as seen in the footage, made a run to his target.

Bursting out of a security checkpoint – set up outside the ballroom – an officer instantly shot in his direction.

Though Allen is in custory and multiple charges were pressed on him, which, if proven, may see him in jail for life for plotting to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump.
