Anne Hathaway recalls 'stressful' yet 'hilarious' experience on 'Devil Wears Prada 1' set
Anne Hathaway heaped praise on her 'Devil Wears Prada' castmates
Anne Hathaway is sharing insights into "one of the most hilarious experiences" with The Devil Wears Prada cast.
The Interstellar actress, who is reprising her role as Andrea Sachs in the upcoming sequel to the 2006 fashion film, revealed that she was "stressed and anxious" during the filming of the first film.
But her castmates, including Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci and Meryl Streep, leveled the shoot up.
"I loved making the first. I know I was stressed and anxious and all those things, but it’s one of the most hilarious experiences ever because of the people I was with," she told People.
Anne has nothing but lots of praise for her costars, who are also returning for The Devil Wears Prada 2, set to hit theaters on May 1.
Gushing over Emily and Stanley, who play Emily Charlton and Nigel in the fashion film respectively, Anne said, "Emily Blunt is such a dream of a human being. Stanley is so funny and quick."
And Meryl, who portrays Miranda Priestly, might have no idea how much Anne admires and respects her.
"I don’t talk about how much I revere her to her, but I do," Anne noted, adding, "She’s someone I admire. Someone who defines how it’s done. Somebody who is just living greatness and never rests on that laurel, but is always pushing herself to expand as an artist. She’s unbelievable."
